Guess where I am? I’m in Boston, attending PAX EAST! (Penny Arcade Expo East)
PAX is always held in Seattle, but since the convention has been growing bigger and bigger every year, they decided this year to have another PAX on the East coast. Boston is also my boyfriend’s hometown.
Boston isn’t that far away from New York, so my friends (as seen in my other post “Tricked or Treated”), my boyfriend and I decided to check it out. It is the very first PAX East after all.
I’ve been to many conventions before, but I’ve never been an attendee before, and I’m really excited. We’ll be attending the convention for the full three days! Since this is a video game convention you get to play tons of brand new video games, see demos, go to different panels to listen to developers talk about how they created a game, and go to game-related concerts.
Actually, I was making a costume for myself to wear it at this convention. I worked soooo hard on it, and for two days straight I only got two hours of sleep each night. It was almost done… but not completely done. T_T I’m still going to finish it when I come back from PAX East though. It looks too good to give up. I’ll post it when I finish it.
While I was working on my costume, I made another costume for my friend. It was supposed to be a joke costume but it turned out pretty good. I’ll take pictures of my friend wearing it and post them later. It’s a video game character from one of the most bizarre games ever made.
In the morning of the day one at PAX East - On the way to a drug store from our hotel, we walked by the building that was in the movie, "the Departed."
Anyway, it’s no fun just me babbling about what I’m going to do, so I’ll just stop here, and continue my PAX East report later… with pictures, of course!

I love your blog! I stumbled on it after doing a google search for “behemoth chicken”. I’m from Boston and I was at PAX this weekend – I had a blast and I hope you did, too! Keep up the awesome work. <3
Damn, I wish I’d known you were going to be there. I would have liked to meet you.
Me, too! Our hotel didn’t have free wifi (boo) so I hadn’t check ANY of my blog feeds at all, otherwise I would’ve loved to say hi! Hope you had a blast, too ;D
